Common Projects: The Ultimate Trainer Brand

As we welcome in a brand new chapter of Clean Conception with a greater emphasis on Menswear over Streetwear, we thought the perfect brand to encapsulate this more stylish - albeit more expensive aesthetic - would be the Italian/American footwear brand Common Projects.

Founded in 2004, their philosophy revolves around understated footwear with luxury design and construction. Quality is fundamental, all of these trainers are hand-stitched in Italy with Italian Nappa leather, and the attractive lack of branding is testament to that: each trainer being individually numbered on the heel.

It's very simple but completely timeless, and whilst the price tag is rather sobering, buying a pair of Common Projects should be seen as an investment for the future rather than just another pair of trainers. CC favourites have to be the Original Achilles Leather Sneakers (photo above) for their simple design and polished finish.
